First off I would like to say thank you for getting in contact with us about your up coming project. We are going to walk through what our processes are to get your project completed to our best of our ability. Also we will list the materials that we will use on your project.
Disinfecting: In our world today with COVID-19, we are taking all causes as possible to stop the spread of this disease. We will spray all tools and paint containers with disinfected spray before entering your home or business.
Protecting Floors/Before Painting: Protecting the floor is our first thing we will do when get on the job site on the first day. We will either use red paper for the hard wood or laminate, or we will use drop cloths for carpet. We do shake out our drop cloths before entering into your home or business. We will pick up drop cloths and vacuum before leaving your home or business if it is needed per day. Before painting we will wipe down all surfaces that will be painted or needing any tape or masking.
Painting Ceilings: If ceilings are being painted, we will fix any holes as needed and start coving anything we don’t want painted. We will prime any areas that have water damage or has new drywall mud. We spray your ceilings if we are also painting walls too. If we are not painting the walls, we will use a brush and a roller. We spray with a Titan 440 paint sprayer.
Walls: Our processes for the walls are more or less the same as ceilings but we don’t spray, we use brush and rollers. If there is a lot we will use a inter feed roller that is hooked up to a Titan 440. We have found that this is a faster and more affective way to get your job done faster at a cheaper labor rate.
Trim: If the trim is not being painted, we will mask off with tape so we don’t get any splatters from the roller when we are painting your walls. If trim is being painted, we will sand and de-gloss, prime as needed, mask off anything we don’t want painted, and normally we will spray the trim before painting the walls.
Clean up of tools: We never clean up our brushes or rollers on the job site. We clean them off site. If using a sprayer we do run water though the lines to make sure paint doesn’t dry inside the sprayer.
If you have any questions or concerns about our processes, please don’t hesitate to email, or call me at anytime.
